I would like to know if anyone owns a 2012 honda crosstour with FWD. I am considering an EX-L w/72k miles for 14,900.00. It is a one-owner, used car and in excellent condition. I had it checked by a mechanic who found that the tensioner (?) was seeping oil a bit and advised it shouldn't be a deal breaker, but the seal should be replaced-an easy fix. My biggest concern is that I live in the Midwest and this car is FWD. It does have stability control, but I'm not sure if that is enough for the winters here. My son has a 2012 Corolla S w/stabilty control and it does very well in the snow-but that is a much lighter vehicle. I'm appreciative for any advise anyone could give me. I've got the car on hold and supposed to pull the trigger tomorrow.
